Canada Blooms

Client: Canada Blooms
Location: Toronto, Ontario
Construction Budget: $100,000 – $250,000
Completion Date: 2014

This temporary exhibit was created for Canada Blooms, a national garden and flower festival held annually in Toronto.  The exhibit attracted children and families to the Earthscape Dinosaur Preserve where they found one of the most unique and monstrously WILD creatures to have ever walked the face of the earth: Dinosaurs!  Visitors, especially young ones, loved to climb over, crawl through and explore our WILD 31-foot Plesiosaurus, a marine reptile of the Mesozoic era.

The Plesiosaurus was the foundational playable sculpture of the sensory playground and a multi-generational amenity space. Our designers were challenged to consolidate a useable playground with seating, social amenities and gardens to reinforce our WILD pre-historic theme.
