Product Overview

The tall peaked roof of the Alpine Hut is a clean and modern design that could fit into a range of playground themes and styles. A-Frame in style, the small house is finished with a chimney. It is fully enclosed on one side but open at the bottom on two sides providing visibility for caregivers but giving children a sense of privacy.

Play Value

Imagine having a house that is exactly your size! A perfect place for you and a friend or a small group of friends. Grown-ups don’t really fit well so it truly feels like a magical hide-away. Play huts are a magnetic playground feature for young children. Play huts offer a sense of enclosure yet are designed to allow caregivers some visibility inside the structure. The play huts have bench seating; the perfect place for a child with sensory needs to find a place of calm and quiet or a shaded spot to cool down and slow down during a busy playground visit.

Merits

Huts can be imagined in a multitude of ways – they may be a fairytale castle, a cabin in the woods or a secret hide-a-way. The live-edge bench is a perfect place to rest – regardless of temperature, wood never gets too hot or too cold for comfort.

Huts are constructed with an Alaskan yellow cedar frame and Accoya roofing, siding, and decking. The option to stain wood elements in different colours is available.
