Product Overview

Log Steppers are so simple, yet have so much play value. Children, teens and adults of all ages enjoy jumping or stepping between Log Steppers. They are a perfect and easy way to functionally link different natural playground elements. Log Steppers can be used individually or in groups. When together, they can be spaced or can be tightly grouped.

Log Steppers are available in the following sizes:

  • Log Stepper 150 = 6″
  • Log Stepper 300 = 12″
  • Log Stepper 450 = 18″
  • Log Stepper 600 = 24″ (Age Range: 5-12 years)

Play Value

Log Steppers are available in varying heights. They work well in combination with with Bog Stilts, Notched Logs or to functionally link other playground elements.

Log Steppers can be configured in many ways. Depending on the configuration and number of Log Steppers, they may be appropriate for 2-5 years or 5-12 years.

Merits

Simple connectors. Log Steppers are a most basic playground piece that has excellent play value. They are a wonderful place for playground games like “Grounders” where the goal is to stay off the surfacing material.

Accessibility

When located on an accessible surface, Log Steppers are an accessible ground level play feature.

Materials

Log Steppers are made of White Oak sourced from Ontario and the Northeastern United States. Steppers have a minimum diameter of 10 inches.
